Tonight’s Eliminated ‘Bachelorette’ Contestant Is Bound to Return This Season. Here’s Why
*Warning: Spoilers ahead*
On tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette, Tayshia Adams met the families of her final four contestants: Ben, Brendan, Ivan and Zac. Although she sent home (spoiler alert!) Ben during the rose ceremony, we know we haven’t seen the last of him.
Not only did the end of the episode tease Ben’s potential return, but we’ve also seen this situation a million times before. Every season, an eliminated contestant returns and pleads his case about why he doesn’t deserve to leave. Although we thought we’d seen the last of it with Bennett, we highly doubt that’s the case.
So, how will Adams handle Ben’s persistence? We’re not entirely sure, since she appeared to have a strong connection with him. The only problem stemmed from the hometown dates, where he froze up, rendering himself unable to drop the L-bomb.
For this reason, we wouldn’t be surprised if she lets him come back, even if it’s for a sudden death two-on-one date. The reason comes down to her past decisions, which weren’t always 100 percent confident.
If Adams has any regrets about sending Ben home, she’s bound to give him a second chance. Besides, if she can let Bennett return to the show only to send him home a few hours later, there’s no harm in giving Ben that same opportunity. Amirite?
The Bachelorette finale airs on ABC next Monday (December 21) and Tuesday (December 22) at 8 p.m.
