Top it off like Kaia Gerber: Shop 10 hats inspired by Chanel’s celeb-studded show
On Wednesday evening, Chanel staged one of its largest Métiers d’Art shows to date, which was held at a special location, Hamburg, Germany — Chanel’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld‘s hometown.
Lagerfeld’s favorite Chanel starlets Kristen Stewart and Lily-Rose Depp sat front row alongside Tilda Swinton and more than 1,400 editors, buyers, and clients, who all congregated in the magnificent new Elbphilharmonie concert hall, designed by Herzog & de Meuron.
The runway show featured a total of 88 looks worn by top models Kaia Gerber, Anna Ewers, Grace Elizabeth, Soo Joo Park, and others, all clad in classic Chanel tweeds, knits, and peacoats. But the most notable accessory to come from the show was the jewel-ornamented Elbsegler sailor caps — each emblazoned with Chanel’s famous interlocking C’s. Available in a variety of prints and colors, from bright checked tweed to houndstooth and classic black, the caps topped off each model’s look perfectly. Yahoo Lifestyle editors predict this will be the “chapeau” of the season.
