Tori Spelling Reveals Daughter's Diagnosis Following Hospitalization
Earlier this week, Tori Spelling shared a photo of her daughter Stella in the hospital.
Tori Spelling is giving her fans an update on her daughter Stella's health following her recent hospitalization.
After Spelling, 49, shared a photo of her 14-year-old from a hospital bed on Wednesday, Jan. 11, the Beverly Hills: 90210 alum shared a follow-up Instagram post on Friday night to let fans know that Stella is "feeling much better" now.
"I wanted to thank everyone for all the well-wishes for Stella," the mother of five captioned an Instagram Story of the teen cuddling one of their family dogs. In the photo, Stella can still be seen wearing the bracelet from the hospital, though her face isn't visible. "She is home and feeling much better," Spelling added, per PEOPLE.
Spelling also took the opportunity to reveal what landed Stella in the hospital in the first place, explaining, "At the ER she was diagnosed with Hemiplegic Migraine. It's a condition that affects one side of the body. Signs of a hemiplegic migraine attack are similar to what would be presented in a stroke that typically includes sudden severe headache on one side of the brain, weakness, and numbness on one half [of] the body."
"It can be terrifying if you don't know what's happening or about this type of Migraine," Spelling continued in her message, while revealing that she too has dealt with migraines in the past.
"As a migraine sufferer my entire life I had no idea about this," she admitted. "Grateful to everyone at the ER. They were amazing and took great loving care of her."
Stella is one of five children the Messyness star shares with husband Dean McDermott. The pair are also parents to sons Liam, 15, Finn, 10 and Beau, 5, as well as another daughter, Hattie, 11.

Spelling herself was also admitted to the hospital recently after having "a hard time breathing, high blood pressure and crazy dizziness," as Us Weekly reported last month.
She shared a photo of herself from the hospital to her Instagram to update her fans and shut down the haters who claimed she was faking being sick.
"Here I am in [the] hospital since late last night," she wrote alongside the selfie. "To all of you who gas lit me when you were told I [was] too sick to work, well here I am."
"How about next time [you] take someone at face value and show kindness instead of doubtfulness," she told the haters. "Remember, for people like me, NOT working is a nightmare. I'm a hustler and a workaholic. I always choose work."
Hopefully there aren't any more health scares for the Spelling-McDermott brood in the future.
