Trader Joe's Just Brought Back a Delicious Fan-Favorite Item, and Shoppers are Rushing to Grab It Now
Whether we want to admit it or not, we’ve all hunkered down and eaten an entire box of donut holes at some point in our lives. Can you really blame us, though? Not only are they the cutest little two-bite sweet treats, but they’re perfect for dunking into your morning cup of coffee. And if you really think about it, it would take at least five donut holes to make up a whole donut anyway. So technically, we’re eating healthy (donut diet for the win!). Semantics aside, we can confidently say we’ll never say no to the insanely poppable treat, and if we do, it’s probably because we already devoured them all.
While most of us trek to Dunkin', Krispy Kreme, or our favorite local bakery for our donut hole fix these days, there’s something soothingly nostalgic about a bag of Entenmann’s Pop’ems that we’ll never get over. Are they the freshest, best-tasting donuts we’ve ever had? Probably not, but when you need a quick sugar rush, there’s no other way to go. Well, that was until Trader Joe’s entered the chat, and as always, they over delivered.
For those of you unaware of the nostalgia-inducing treat in question, TJ’s dropped its version of Glazed Chocolate Donut Holes last winter, and after a quick hiatus, these delectable treats are back in full effect.

Inside the bright pink, donut shop-inspired package, you’ll find about 20 teeny tiny glazed chocolate donut holes perfect for snacking on with your morning cup of joe. More important than their crave-worthy aura, of course, is the fact that unlike most donuts and sweet treats, these little cuties are gluten and dairy-free. And at just $3.49 each, how can you say no?
Word of the restock came via the ever-reliable Trader Joe’s-focused subreddit where self-proclaimed donut hole connoisseur r/smallcokewithfries shared their admiration for the snack. “I know they won’t be for everybody...but I have a soft spot for that gross, processed, glazed chocolate donut hole flavor,” mused the user. And while we wouldn’t call them gross per se, we get where they’re going.
Thankfully, no one in the comments found them abhorrent, and instead, users shared their sheer joy at word that the fan-favorite treat has returned. Even better than compliments, one person recommended tossing them in the air fryer before enjoying them, and with that, we’ve officially been influenced.
