Travis Kelce Confirms Return of His Highly-Anticipated Event
Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce's music festival is confirmed to be returning in 2024.
For those who may not know, the Chiefs tight end has made it his thing to host a one-day music festival in Kansas City, previously hosting Machine Gun Kelly, Rick Ross, Tech N9NE, and musical duo Loud Luxury for the 2023 event.
Last year's Kelce Jam included a chicken wing eating contest, a drunken performance of a Beastie Boys hit by the host, and loads of other entertainment, so we expect the same–if not even more intense–antics this year.
This year's festival–which will take place on Saturday, May 18, at Azura Amphitheater–will be the second annual Kelce Jam hosted by the three-time Super Bowl champ, and the 34-year-old is, once again, promising to "personally curate" one of the most exciting events of 2024.
The exact lineup has yet to be unveiled, but the official description claims there will be plenty of "entertainment, music, food, and fun personally curated by Travis." The event page continued, describing Kelce Jam as "a 20,000+ person music festival and the perfect way for all of Chiefs Kingdom to continue celebrating their 2024 Super Bowl victory!"
A statement made by the host and shared by the official event page further teased the upcoming celebration: "KC are you ready to run it back and fight for your right to party!? Let's keep the championship energy going all year long with the return of the [city's] biggest festival – Kelce Jam. Just wait till you see what I got in store for you this year and which of my homies will be performing. Stay tuned for the lineup and ticketing announcement in the coming weeks!”
Unfortunately for Swifties, we already know the NFL star's girlfriend Taylor Swift will not be in attendance, as she's set to perform with Paramore at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, that weekend.
