Travis Kelce Explains If He'll Be Spending Thanksgiving With Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce is opening up about his plans for Thanksgiving, after it was previously teased that he'd been hoping to possibly spend the holiday with his new girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

Instead of linking up with the pop star on Thursday, Nov. 23, though, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end will be flying solo, amid reports that Swift has opted to stay abroad in Brazil, where she has been performing on the international leg of her Eras Tour.

During the latest episode of Travis and his brother Jason's podcast New Heights, he finally confirmed his plans for himself. "I’ll be feasting on KFC because I won’t have anybody here," he admitted on the episode released Wednesday, Nov. 22, after the Philadelphia Eagles center talked through a rundown of football games to watch on TV this week.

After Travis divulged the surprising plans, his brother responded, "You don’t have anybody in there cooking turkey? What’s Kumar doing?" referring to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's personal chef.

"I don’t know. He might be going back to hang out with his family," the 34-year-old replied.

In true loving sibling fashion, Jason then extended an offer for his younger bro to fly to Philadelphia and join him for dinner, assuring him, "If you want to make a quick trip, you’re welcome at the house, man. We’ll have plenty of food."

It is unclear why the Catching Kelce alum has seemingly decided to spend Thanksgiving alone, however, he and his team do have a game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, so maybe he wants to stay home to prepare.

Taylor, for her part, has decided to stay put in the South American country, according to reports, ahead of her S?o Paulo concert dates scheduled through the weekend.

While the new couple's schedules didn't seem to align over the November holiday, they are allegedly hoping to spend more time with one another—including by getting both of their families together—in December.
