Ever since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce went public with their relationship late last year, Swifties have completely embraced the Chiefs tight end—not to mention the rest of his family.
As a result, his NFL jersey has made its way into the fold of Eras Tour costumes, becoming a regular fixture in the massive, sold-out crowds that Swift has enjoyed over the last year, and in this week's episode of New Heights, the Kansas City legend is opening up about how it feels to see a sea of red and yellow amid the countless other creative looks Swifties are known to come up with for her concerts.
Brother Jason Kelce pointed out the video clips he'd seen from the "Karma" singer's Sydney, Australia stop, where Kelce flew in to see his girlfriend perform and where the recently retired NFL star said it "looked like there were a lot of Travis Kelce jerseys among the fans out there in Sydney."
"There was a few," Travis conceded. "There's a good amount of an American football crowd out there, and I think, just like, Taylor fans, so they wanted to show their support," he joked.
"How do you feel about your jersey being worn all over the Eras Tour?" Jason prompted, and the tight end didn't hold back, calling it "pretty [freakin'] cool to have your jersey being worn."
That said, he feels the same way even if it's just a fan who happens to be out and about, or even those at his games, but we have to imagine it probably feels "pretty [freakin'] cool" to have been so seamlessly adopted into the Swiftie fold.
