Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce Get Heated When Asked Who Can Drink More
If there are two things it's safe to say the world knows about Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce it's that they're good at football and they both like to knock a few back—as evidenced by their respective Super Bowl celebrations. But when it comes to who can actually drink more, the brothers are decidedly at odds.
While chatting with newly-signed Eagles running back Saquon Barkley on the latest episode of their New Heights podcast on Wednesday, the Kelces were asked which of them would win in a drinking contest.
"I'm pretty sure I've beaten Jason the last three to five times," Travis boldly stated, a claim that Jason quickly retorted was "completely made up."
When asked what type of competition he was referring to, Barkley clarified: "Chugging and then like toe-to-toe, who's calling it quits?"
"I can definitely drink more volume, I don't think that's even a question," Jason said, drawing immediately protests from Travis who claimed that they're now in the same weight class since it's the off-season. Though, Jason conceded that his brother has been drinking more recently, especially as he's been seen jet-setting around the world with his girlfriend Taylor Swift.
"He hasn't stayed out past 10 p.m. since 2017," Travis fired back at Jason, who then asked: "Did you not see me at your playoff games this year?"
"Do you remember any of that?" Travis followed up, to which Jason seemingly proved his point. "No because I was drinking all day," he quipped.
"We're going to have to get to the bottom of this," Jason continued. "I think drinking games, I will destroy him because I've got the mental advantage. I'm the older brother. Beer pong, I'm not beating you in, for sure now."
Since it seemed clear that a consensus was not going to be reached, Barkley then asked the brothers who could shotgun a beer quicker, but even that ended up getting convolved.
"Well the last time we shotgunned one Travis cheated," Jason claimed. However, upon further discussion, neither could even remember the exact instance. In either case, it seems as the challenge, as it would appear, is officially on.
"Yeah, well, it's on like Donkey Kong motherf--ker," Travis added. "We're going to enter ourselves into this drinking contest maybe at the shore or something."
Fans will certainly be waiting on bated breath.
