Travis Kelce’s Jersey Sells for Record High Amid Taylor Swift Relationship Frenzy
Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce's game day jersey just sold for a record high, and the seller credits his budding relationship with Taylor Swift for the hefty price tag.
According to the listing, the jersey was worn by the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end during the International Series matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, Mexico, on Nov. 18, 2019. It recently sold for a whopping $36,905 via Goldin Auctions.
"This is an all-time record for a Travis Kelce game-used item. He has always been popular but the success of the Chiefs, as well as the publicity he's gotten around his relationship with Taylor Swift, has added to his popularity and awareness among collectors," the auction owner, Ken Goldin, told TMZ.

The "Look What You Made Me Do" songstress, 33, who was named Time Magazine's 2023 Person of the Year and just broke a record of her own by being the first to generate $1 billion across 151 Eras tour shows in five continents, has also been credited with bringing a "new generation of fans" to football—at least according to NFL Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez.
The frenzy surrounding the NFL star's relationship with the 12-time Grammy winner aside, the jersey itself was a big deal on its own. Kelce wore it during a winning game during which he recorded seven receptions for 92 yards—including a 31-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter that increased the Chiefs lead to 24-9.
