Travis Kelce Reportedly Buys Lavish Mansion for 'Privacy' Amid Taylor Swift Romance
Travis Kelce
It looks like Travis Kelce is taking steps to make sure he's just as protected as he is "protective."
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end reportedly purchased a home in the Midwestern region—a lavish mansion in a gated community for just under $6 million. The deal closed on Tuesday, Oct. 17, according to TMZ, so at this point, it's pretty much official that the pro athlete will be sprawling out in his new digs within the coming weeks.
The luxury accommodation boasts over 16,000 square feet of living space and a pool with a waterfall, in addition to a tennis and pickleball court and mini golf course. Additionally, if offers more seclusion and privacy than his current house—one of the main reasons for the upgrade, according to intel the tabloid received from close sources.

Apparently, the accessibility of the space he lives in now—a custom-designed, seven-bedroom house in Kansas City's Briarcliff West neighborhood, which he bought for $995k in 2019—was becoming an issue, as he has been thrusted into the limelight for his connection to Taylor Swift.
Unwarranted visitors had began popping up to scope out the place (possibly hoping for a pop star sighting?) and the attention the property was getting was allegedly starting to make the two-time Super Bowl champ uncomfortable.
Over the weekend, the "Bad Blood" singer came to visit her potential soon-to-be-official beau at his pad after cheering him on during his NFL game on Thursday, Oct. 12, only to have paparazzi waiting outside in an attempt to grab any snaps of the two.
Though supporters of the rumored couple wondered if the pair had already bought a home together, it has been confirmed that's not the case, as the residence was purchased solely by Kelce.
