Travis Kelce Says Taylor Swift Meeting Papa Kelce Was 'Terrifying'
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift
Having a significant other meet your parents for the first time can be a nerve-wracking milestone—but probably not as intense as Travis Kelce introducing his folks to Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and international pop star first sparked dating rumors when she showed up at the Chiefs-Bears game next to Kelce's mom, Donna Kelce, in a luxury box in September. Since then, Swift has attended two more games to support her new beau, and each time, photos and videos of her interacting with Mama Kelce have made fans swoon over their seemingly close bond.

On Oct. 12, Travis' father, Ed Kelce, had the honor of meeting Swift at the Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos. And evidently, Travis didn't enjoy the experience one bit.
"Yeah, Taylor talking to dad ... You know dad like I know dad," Travis said to his older brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, during the Oct. 18 episode of their New Heights podcast.
To that, Jason added, "Which is, he shouldn't be talking to Taylor Swift."
Travis agreed with his brother, replying, "This is a terrifying conversation, I felt terrible for Taylor for being in this."
Playful jabs aside, Travis got serious for a moment about their father.
"We can't keep kicking dad just because we enjoy doing it, man and our dad is the best f---ing dad in the world," he clarified. "He is a great converser ... It's where Jason gets his storytelling and a lot of his charisma. We're saying this just because we love to rag on the big guy."

The real question is: Has Papa Kelce become an overnight Swiftie following their meeting?
"You can just see in this picture all he's doing is just pumping her up," Travis joked in the podcast. "He's started listening to her music a little more."
"Bless his heart," Jason responded. "He said, 'Now I've taken all of your CDs out at the local library, and I've started to burn them onto my computer.' Because that is legal, as a tax-paying citizen."
As much as the Kelce brothers enjoy joking about their dad embarrassing them in front of Swift, it's clear they have a deep admiration for Ed. And judging by their comments, the pop star seems to have won Mama Kelce's and Papa Kelce's approval.
