Travis Kelce's mom, Donna Kelce, got candid while discussing her son's suspected relationship with Taylor Swift, and it sounds like the two have her blessing.
While speaking with Jennifer Vickery Smith for the Friday, Oct. 6 episode of the Got It From My Momma podcast, Donna acknowledged that the world's infatuation with who her son is dating is not how she expected being an NFL mother would go.
When asked how she feels about the intense media coverage and fans' unwavering support, she described it as like being in "an alternate universe."
"I feel like I'm in an alternate universe because it's something that I've never been involved with ever before," Donna said, per ET Online.
Travis, 34, isn't her only son to make it to the professional league, but he is the only one to date a pop star, as his brother, Jason Kelce–a center for the Philadelphia Eagles–settled down with his wife Kylie, who works with nonprofits.
Mama Kelce, who was spotted hitting it off with the singer at one of Travis' games, also revealed that she's a Swiftie, sharing her favorite Taylor Swift song, and it's a single off her hit 2014 album, 1989.
"I think probably 'Shake It Off'—we're getting a lot of that lately, about haters," she said with a laugh.
Though the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the 33-year-old Grammy winner have yet to make their romance Instagram official, on Tuesday, Travis showed just how smitten he is while speaking about the experience in a video clip for the podcast Chasin' It.
When asked by hosts Chase Daniel and Trey Wingo if he ever thought the couple dating would "become the thing that it became" and "understand the concept of what [he] was entering," Travis was quite candid, noting, "I had no idea, man. I had no idea."
"You can't tell me that anybody else did either but I can't be mad at how it's all played out," he added with a smile.
