Travis Scott's Net Worth In 2024 May Not Actually Be Astro-nomical
Travis Scott
Travis Scott's net worth in 2024 is sky-high ... for now. He told Forbes in November 2020 that he'd like to get it even higher, though money wasn't everything to him.
"I don't think utopia is about high currency with everything being, like, a money thing. I think it's about people being naturally happy," he said.
While the rapper is rich beyond most people's imaginations (save perhaps his ex Kylie Jenner and her brood), Scott has a lot of pricey litigation to deal with following the Astroworld Festival tragedy in 2021.

How did Travis Scott become famous?
Born Jacques Bermon Webster II in Houston, Texas, Travis Scott had music in his blood: His father was a soul musician and his grandfather was a jazz composer, and Scott learned to play drums from his uncle as a child. (He later adopted his uncle's name as half of his stage name, with "Scott" being inspired by Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi). He formed several fledgling musical groups with friends as a child and participated in musical theater in school. Scott graduated high school at 17 and enrolled in the University of Texas at San Antonio, but dropped out to pursue music full time.
He first released music on MySpace (yep, throwback) back in 2008, and continued making music independently for years. In 2012, rapper T.I. discovered a song Scott produced and had his management set up a meeting. He released his first mixtape, Owl Pharaoh, the same year, and eventually signed with Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label. While hip-hop heads loved him for years before, Scott's biggest breakout with mainstream pop audiences came courtesy of his high-energy 2017 Coachella performance.
