Clogs are a controversial shoe. While they might not be the sexiest footwear choice, they are incredibly comfortable, versatile, and, IMO, stylish. And many celebrities seem to agree, as stars like Kendall Jenner, Kaia Gerber, and Jennifer Garner have all been spotted wearing the practical slip-ons.

As a shopping editor who loves discovering pricier looks for less, my fall fashion goal was to find a cheaper version of Hollywood’s go-to clogs to wear this season. I browsed many sites, but nothing compared to the price and style of the Time and Tru clogs from Walmart. The brand recently sent me a pair to test—and they’re even better in person. I chose the classic tan shade, since they go with everything, but now that I know how comfy and well-made they are, I’m grabbing more colors before they sell out.

While I love boots and loafers for this time of year, these clogs have been my favorite fall shoes for laid-back looks since adding them into my rotation. They complete my casual-cute weekend uniform of comfy pants, a basic tee, and a cardigan, plus, I always slip them on while heading out the door for early morning yoga classes. If you struggle with finding the right pair of shoes to wear with relaxed jeans, trust me, these clogs are it.

My sand color option features a faux suede finish with a gold buckle, which fits seamlessly into my wardrobe, but there are six more to choose from, including quintessential fall shades like wine and dark green as well as styles with a silver buckle instead.

When it comes to comfort, the clogs are just as supportive and cushy as my favorite sneakers thanks to their padded footbed. I’ve worn them on multiple occasions while running errands for hours, and my feet never felt tired, achy, or came close to battling a blister. I’m a true size 7, but based on reviews, I decided to size up so that they are comfortable with thick socks in chillier weather. I’ve walked around in them with and without socks and am happy with the size 8.

I’m not the only one who’s obsessing over the Time and Tru clogs. Many shoppers left five-star reviews, saying that they’re perfect for fall and go with virtually everything in their closets. One person mentioned this is the second year they purchased the clogs, and shared that they get even more comfortable the more you wear them.

If you've been eyeing pricier pairs or have been on the hunt for a comfy autumnal shoe, grab my clogs for just $20 at Walmart while sizes are still in stock. Below, you can check out all of the color options available—including the blue and white corduroy styles that are currently in my cart.
