We Triple-Dog Dare You to Build This ‘A Christmas Story’ Gingerbread House
Need a safe holiday activity that doesn’t have a chance that you’ll shoot your eye out? Building a gingerbread house is about as wholesome as you can get. Now there’s an A Christmas Story version that comes with scenes from the 1983 film.
The kit from Cookies United has everything you need to create a holiday masterpiece that even Miss Shields would give an A+ to. The prebaked gingerbread walls and roof will be constructed with the premade white icing. Luckily, the kit comes with a tray with slots, so it’ll be easier to build a strong foundation. Then, you can decorate with the provided candy jewels and fruity gums.
What makes the house a standout piece are the scene setters. There is a Ralphie in a bunny suit, Randy in his snow gear, father in his sweater, Christmas tree, delivery box marked “fragile,” leg lamp, car with a Christmas tree on the roof, and the infamous flagpole scene.
