There are few things more iconic in the beauty world than Twiggy’s eyelashes. The supermodel and actress rose to fame at a young age, gracing the cover of Vogue in the ‘60s (at just 17!) flaunting a mod makeup look featuring her now-signature bold lashes, and glowing skin.

We’ve wondered for years how Twiggy—real name, Lesley Hornby—achieved such defined lashes, and the model finally shared exactly how she’s making them so bold these days: Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk Push Up Mascara.

“I love the Pillow Talk Push Up lashes Mascara, and the new shade Dream Pop is my favorite!” Twiggy told People in a recent interview. “I pair this with the new Pillow Talk Dreams palette.”

The model, who is an ambassador for the brand and a longtime friend of Charlotte Tibury herself, said that she's been “very fond” of a dramatic eye from a young age. In fact, she “invented it at the tender age of 16.”

“It would take me one and a half hours to apply, including three pairs of false eyelashes,” she told People. Now, she achieves the dramatic look with the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push Up Mascara alone.

At 72, it's no secret that Twiggy’s skin glows. She credits more Charlotte Tilbury products for that. “I have dry skin, lots of moisturizer is really important to me,” she said, adding that Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream is “gorgeous for every day” and she opts for the Magic Night Cream each night.

Outside of products, Twiggy said beauty “comes in many forms, inside and out.” She stays healthy by drinking plenty of water, in addition to healthy eating and getting a better night’s sleep for glowing skin.

Ultimately, the star says that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” And we couldn’t agree more.
