Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen might be twins but they dressed like opposites on Thursday night. At Youth America Grand Prix’s 2017 “Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow” Gala in New York City, the sisters opted for contrasting black and white ensembles.

Mary-Kate wore a $9,590 long black, satin-trimmed bouclé jacket from the twins’s own label, The Row, while Ashley went with a white, floor-length gown that featured lace embellishments for the dance gala.

Mary-Kate dressed up her expensive coat with green statement earrings and platform wedges, while Ashley accessorized her white dress with a black clutch. They both styled their hair in tousled waves.

The two usually stick to darker colors. They were spotted in February in matching black gowns at the wedding of their friends Maggie Kayne and Travis Hayden in Mangawhai, New Zealand.

The Olsens, who prefer to remain out of the spotlight and stay away from social media, always manage to look on-trend, which comes as no surprise given the success of their clothing brands.
