Two of the nation’s best-ranked hotels are in North Carolina, USA Today reports
PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — You can have a getaway and never leave town.
According to USA Today, the Triad has some notable bed and breakfasts and boutique hotels.
On USA Today’s “10 best bed-and-breakfasts in the US” list, the Historic Magnolia House bed & breakfast in Greensboro was ranked sixth.
“Music legends including Tina Turner, James Brown, and Ray Charles have stayed at The Historic Magnolia House, and the property’s four guest rooms feature decor inspired by past guests. The property also happens to be one of a handful of Green Book sites still operating in North Carolina,” the website boasts about the property.
In Winston-Salem, Graylyn Estate is ranked as the fourth-best boutique hotel with USA Today calling it, “Our own version of Downton Abbey.”
Graylyn’s website says it’s “one of the country’s most enchanting and historic hotels,” and includes amenities such as a formal dining area, a grille room for casual dining and cocktails and unlimited complimentary ice cream.
