Tyson is gearing up for National Pizza Day-which I'll be celebrating thoroughly come February 9-a little early this year. The frozen food manufacturer just released their Pizza-Flavored Chicken Nuggets, and honestly, we're already obsessed. They basically just combined two universally beloved foods into one.

The antibiotic-free chicken nugs are made with real mozzarella, parmesan breading, and a zesty pepperoni seasoning and are already available in participating Meijer and HEB locations (praise!!). If you're freaking out and frantically searching for the nearest Meijer, don't, because pizza-flavored nuggets will eventually be available nationwide.

And while *technically* this is Tyson's first foray into the pizza-flavored nuggets, the brand's Any'tizers Pepperoni Mozzarella Chicken Snackers packs a similar Italian-style taste punch. Meanwhile, their Tajin-Seasoned Chicken Nuggets and Tajin-Seasoned Any'tizers Boneless Chicken Bites also launched this month as part of a new partnership with Tajin Seasoning.

Despite no involvement in the scandal, the Pizza-Flavored Chicken Nuggets' debut does come on the heels of Tyson's January recall. The company was forced to pull 36,000 pounds of White Meat Panko Nuggets after the USDA warned customers to toss out their Tyson. "[They] may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically rubber," the agency said, after they received numerous reports from customers. However, there has been no confirmed illnesses as a result. The company also addressed the incident in a statement January 29, identifying only the panko chicken as an infected product.

The pizza-flavored nuggets are safe and the perfect combo. Time to start pregaming National Pizza Day!!!
