The Ultimate Tashi Duncan Style Guide

Zendaya's outfits on the Challengers press tour could serve as a master class in method dressing, but her character in the movie, tennis prodigy Tashi Duncan, also has an enviable sense of style.
Throughout the film, she wears recognizable brands like Adidas and Cartier, but costume designer Jonathan Anderson (creative director of Loewe) primarily focused on how her wardrobe evolved as she got wealthier. "If you were to see Tashi outside, in the real world, she is proof that there is something about success that ultimately makes people go toward conformity," he explained. "As you become more successful, you get to this point where everyone else who is successful has the same luggage, or the same jewelry."
So while Challengers is not exactly based on a true story, the fashion in the film feels real. Here's the ultimate guide to recreating Tashi Duncan's most iconic looks:
1. Tenniscore (literally)
Canonically, Tashi is sponsored by Adidas in the film, so that's the only brand she wears on the court, but while promoting the movie, Zendaya has worn On, Lacoste, and Tory Burch, among other sporty brands.

2. Not-so-quiet luxury
In the main match between Art and Patrick, Tashi sits in the center, tensely watching. In this scene, she wears a light blue long-sleeved dress, Ray Ban sunglasses, and Chanel espadrillesāa very straightforward look to recreate. She also sports a Cartier trinity necklace, and a Cartier Love bracelet, along with an assortment of other layered gold jewelry, including what appears to be a friendship bracelet.

The match takes place in the main timeline of Challengersāor at least, the one that is returned to the most oftenāand in it, Tashi exudes what some have termed "rich mom energy."
3. Off the court (younger)
In the earlier timelines of the film, when she isn't playing tennis, Tashi opts for comfortable clothing, including Stanford sweatshirts, black shorts, Adidas superstars, and a Juicy Couture zip-up hoodie in the famed three-way-kiss scene.

5" Airbrush High-Waist Biker Short - Black
CloudKnit 3.5" Shorts

But her off-court wardrobe isn't entirely athleisure; notably, when she first meets Art and Patrick at a party, she's wearing a vibrant blue mini dress. Take inspiration from that look below:

4. Off the court (older)
In the later timelines, Tashi ditches the hoodies for nightgowns, hotel robes, and cozy knits. As she ages, Tashi also embodies the quiet luxury aesthethicāmoisturizing with Augustinus Bader body cream, wearing an understated (but almost certainly expensive) brown sweater, and carrying the Loewe flamenco tote.

5. "I Told Ya" t-shirt
While eating lunch with Art at the Stanford dining hall, Tashi wears a gray shirt that reads "I Told Ya." Patrick sports the same tee in a later scene. Per Anderson, this look was inspired by John F. Kennedy Jr., who was photographed in a similar design in the '90s. Loewe is now selling the official "I Told Ya" shirt. Shop it here:
