Um, Is Clare Crawley Already Engaged to One of Her 'Bachelorette' Contestants? Here’s What We Know

It seems Clare Crawley is finally getting the happy ending she’s been looking for: The current (or should we say former?) Bachelorette is reportedly engaged.

According to Popsugar, Dale Moss may have already popped the question to the 39-year-old star. Per the outlet, fans began to suspect a possible engagement last month after fireworks were seen at a La Quinta resort where filming for season 16 of The Bachelorette took place. It’s important to remember that reports like these should be taken with a grain of salt until either party comments (or until the season airs, starting on Tuesday, October 13).

ICYMI: Crawley supposedly found love with the 31-year-old just 12 days into filming. And in a newly released promo for the season, we even got a glimpse of the couple sharing a passionate kiss. The short clip was released on Wednesday and features Clare Crawley demanding “respect” while Keke Palmer sings a cover of Aretha Franklin’s hit song of the same name.  “I have so much to share, and so much to give," Crawley says in voiceover. “I know what I am looking for, and I am so ready for this.”

The trailer only focuses on Crawley and does not mention Tayshia Adams, who replaces Crawley as the show’s star later in the season, per E! News“The producers have told [Adams] that the season will still lead with Clare and her short-lived journey, and will show Clare falling in love with one of her suitors,” an insider said. “Clare will then conclude her journey and announce that Tayshia is the lead.”

So, while these engagement rumors are just, well, rumors, with the way this season is going, we wouldn’t be surprised if this news turns out to be true.
