An Uplifting Evening

On October 28, American Ballet Theatre kicked off its fall season at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater with the world premiere of choreographer Christopher Rudd's new work Lifted. The evening, which honored ABT Trustee Patricia R. Morton with the Melville Straus Leadership Achievement Award and also included a performance of Ji?í Kylián’s Sinfonietta as well as a black-tie dinner and dancing, drew guests including Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Anh Duong, Misty Copeland, James Whiteside, and Carly Cushnie, who designed the costumes for Lifted.
