Vacheron Constantin Introduces Overseas Tourbillon High Jewellery
Vacheron Constantin is adding to its Overseas collection with the unveiling of a new model, the Overseas Tourbillon High Jewellery, marking the first time the collection features a baguette diamond bezel, an 18-karat white gold case and bracelet.
The new Overseas Tourbillon High Jewellery comes in a combination of 18-karat white gold (a material rarely used in the model range, and prior to this only available in the Perpetual Calendar) and the collection’s signature blue dial, with the setting of 85 baguette-cut diamonds on its Maltese cross-shaped bezel, indexes and strap clasp, as well as the brand’s ultra-thin movement Tourbillon movement Calibre 2160.

With a 42.5mm diameter case, the timepiece’s sporty aesthetic is accentuated by the slender curvature achieved by the ultra-thin self-winding movement, and comes equipped with a matching 18-karat white gold bracelet and two additional interchangeable straps, in blue calfskin and rubber that are secured by an interchangeable white gold pin buckle set with baguette-cut diamonds.
What truly sets the new Overseas Tourbillon apart is its dial, which is presented in a translucent, blue-lacquered, sunburst satin-finished base with a velvet-finished flange blue dial, as well as the adornment enhanced by the setting of 60 diamonds on the six-sided bezel, extending onto the hour-markers. Unlike previous Overseas models, the diamonds set on this timepiece are baguette-cut, with 25 facets emphasizing the diamond’s purity rather than its brilliance, and minimalist contours meant to highlight the brand’s attention to detail.
