'Vanderpump Rules': Where Tom Sandoval, Raquel Leviss Stand After Affair
The latest update on the headline-making affair, known as 'Scandoval.'
The Vanderpump Rules theme song may promise the "best days" of their lives, but things have not been great for the show's stars.
For those who have missed the Bravo-centric drama, Tom Sandoval shocked fans by cheating on longtime girlfriend and co-star Ariana Madix with mutual friend Raquel Leviss.
And despite being spotted together since the affair, known as "Scandoval" online, Sandoval is revealing where he currently stands with Leviss. Per the bar owner, he and the former beauty queen are currently on “a break," but remain “good friends” as the scandal plays out in the public and on the small screen (Vanderpump Rules is currently airing its 10th season).
“We’re not putting any label on it,” he said on the April 11 episode of the Howie Does Stuff podcast. “We’re just kind of taking a break.”
He even denied that they have a current sexual relationship.
This update comes a month after Sandoval and Leviss offered up separate apologies to Madix on social media.
"I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love," Sandoval wrote at the time. "No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly."
As for Leviss, she penned, "I want to apologize for my actions and my choices to Ariana, my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I must own my actions. I deeply regret hurting Ariana."
However, the next day, she added in a separate post, "Besides the indefensible circumstances surrounding our relationship, my feelings for Tom have always been sincere and born out of a loving friendship. Knowing how many people we hurt, I need to understand my choices and learn to make better ones. I need to take care of my health, work on my self-growth and take time to be ok with being alone. I care for Tom and I don’t want to label anything or predict what lies ahead. Right now I need to heal.”
