Vanessa Grimaldi of 'The Bachelor' Keeps It Real In a Tummy-Hugging Dress

Last season’s winner of The Bachelor, Vanessa Grimaldi, is known for being a relatable lady — with a normal profession, an eye for budgeted fashion, and an Instagram feed that looks a lot like your own, as the 37-year-old special-education teacher is no stranger to workout leggings, or a casual T-shirt and jeans. She’s no stranger to a visible belly, either.

In her latest Instagram photo, posted on Monday night, the Canadian reality star is seen all dressed up next to fiancé Nick Viall. And although the mere fact of her having met him on TV seems to separate her from the rest of us, her caption says differently.

“Mirror selfie competition,” Grimaldi writes, followed by hashtags, “#learnedfromthebest #bloated #nobetteryou.”

The slim-fitting powder-blue dress looks flawless on Grimaldi’s figure, but she isn’t above pointing out that, yes, you can see her stomach (as teeny as it may be) — a phenomenon of “visible belly outlines” that a blogger on Instagram has previously pointed out. While there are some commenters taking the opportunity to body shame Grimaldi, and even ask if she’s pregnant (seriously?), others are here to remind her that a little bloat is no big deal.

“Never feel the need to hashtag apologize for your body!” one person wrote. “Bloat or no bloat perfection!”

Yahoo Style couldn’t agree more with the encouraging sentiments. But as this is the woman who has worn a $30 dress on the red carpet, the important question here is this: Where this frock from?
