I’ve Been Wearing These Barely There, Buttery Soft Thongs for 10+ Years

They make me feel like I’m going commando.

Thongs. I must admit, that word doesn’t typically make me think of comfort. But there’s one thong in particular that’s had me giving heart eyes for over a decade, and it’s by Honeydew Intimates.

I first discovered the Honeydew Intimates Ahna Lace Thongs during a trip to Los Angeles, where I simply had to visit then-uber-popular store Kitson in Beverly Hills. (Any store that was frequented by celebs like Mischa Barton circa The OC and Lindsay Lohan circa Mean Girls was, of course, a must-see.) I noticed the Honeydew thongs the moment I stepped through the door.

For starters, the hipster silhouette is low rise, so it doesn’t poke out of jeans or skirts — but not so much that it’s too far below my belly button, either. The thong itself isn’t too thin or string-like; it actually has some fabric to it so you don’t feel like you’re sporting a string of dental floss. The blend of rayon and spandex jersey is super soft, too — it feels like butter against the skin. Each one is finished with a contrasting scalloped lace trim and a pretty miniature bow detail at the front. They come in sizes S to XL — for reference, I consistently buy the XL, which skims and settles perfectly over my curvy waist and hips.
