Vendors sought for Day in the Park

HIGH POINT — The High Point Arts Council is inviting all artists and makers to participate in the 50th annual Day in the Park Festival, which will be held Sept. 21, from noon until 4 p.m., at City Lake Park in Jamestown.

The festival, which is expected to draw more than 3,500 attendees, features two stages of live performances, multiple food trucks, children’s activities, folklife exhibitions, arts-themed activities, and more than 30 artists, crafters and authors.

Fine artists and crafters can reserve a spot in the Marketplace Bazaar, where they can set up their own space to exhibit and sell their work. Food trucks and push carts can reserve a space to sell concessions throughout the day.

The fee for fine artists and crafters to reserve a spot is $50 before July 15, $75 after that date. The deadline for application is July 31.

The fee for food trucks is $200 before Aug. 25, $250 after that date. The fee for push carts is $100 before Aug. 25, $150 after that date. The deadline for food trucks and push carts is Aug. 29.
