Vinnie Jones Was Asked to Cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine

Vinnie Jones, the actor behind the X-Men character Juggernaut, revealed that he was supposed to return to the MCU this year in Deadpool & Wolverine.

During a junket for new series The Gentleman, he told Yahoo UK, "I spoke to the director [of Deadpool & Wolverine] and said, 'It's such a drama putting that suit on', mentally and physically. It had its mental toll, as well, because you're in it, and you can't do anything all day," he said.

"So, we couldn't strike the deal," Jones said. He also said, "Deadpool is my favorite movie of all time". "I really wanted to do it, but they didn't have the budget to put me in the suit".

It's safe to say Juggernaut will not feature in Deadpool & Wolverine, but Jones can be seen in The Gentleman, which hit Netflix today.

He plays Geoff Seacombe across eight episodes of the series, which follows Theo James as Eddie Horniman, who inherits a family estate, initially unaware it's home to a drug empire run by a syndicate with no plans to vacate.
