Poignant viral videos of opening special Christmas gifts are sure to make you cry
Holiday photos and videos have been circulating the internet, as they do every year, as families spend time together, exchange gifts and enjoy lots of food. But one particular type of video is trending this Christmas season — and it’s a serious tearjerker.
That’s because people are taking to social media to share recordings of the heartwarming moments when a family member opens a remarkable gift that memorializes a loved one who has died.
It all starts with the recipient holding a box from Build-a-Bear, and opening it to find a stuffed animal. But everything changes when the gift’s receiver is prompted to squeeze the bear’s hand, which plays a recording of the deceased loved one’s voice. These are powerful moments that have created a series of poignant videos this holiday season.
