Wait, Rami Malek Is Totally, Completely Freddie Mercury in the Bohemian Rhapsody Trailer
Bohemian Rhapsody has been a long time coming, and high-profile cast and crew changes (Sasha Baron-Cohen was supposed to play Queen singer Freddie Mercury at one point, as was Bryan Singer) made it seem like a far-off prospect. But the trailer is finally here, and with Rami Malek playing the legendary musician, it's going to be just as hand-clappingly moving as fans might hope.
Mercury, with his notoriously giant teeth, might not have seemed like the most obvious choice for a leading man. But he was one of the very best in the world. Bohemian Rhapsody charts his life as he goes from aspiring singer-songwriter to arguably one of the most famous people on the planet, taking the stage at 1985's memorable Live Aid concert-while grappling with a recent AIDS diagnosis.
The film also stars Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aidan Gillen, Tom Hollander, Allen Leech, and Mike Myers.
Bohemian Rhapsody will be in theaters on November 2.
