As we emerge from The Year of the Sweatpants, we may not be quite ready to squeeze into jeans. Let's face it, this has been a tough time for waistlines worldwide. Don't beat yourself up. Just be realistic and encouraging, dressing for comfort, ease of movement and increased activity.
The obvious transitional piece: really good leggings that are both comfortable and flattering, in a range of colors—and at a sale price so low, you can afford to buy multiples.
Enter Walmart with a discount so delicious, we did a double take. A perfect pair in seven colors reduced from $25 to just $7.
The Avia Women's Flex Tech 7/8ths Length Leggings are made from a sturdy tech stretch fabric that contours to hips, legs and booty without clinging. They have a flattering high rise with a wide waistband and core support. The butt view is excellent. And they're totally squat-proof so you can wear them to the gym or while yanking weeds out of the flower bed.
Side stripe binding, zip pockets and mesh detailing add a sporty touch. But in basic black (above) they look like legit streetwear. We love every single color on offer. Sizes go from XS to 3XL.
This Walmart sale brings the price of these fantastically flattering leggings down by 72 percent! But don't let the cost fool you. These Avias look and feel like styles that cost three or four times as much. Shoppers love them.
One noted: "These are my favorite leggings. I bought my first pair in February 2020...I now own four pairs."
Sometimes the waistband on compression leggings can be problematic. Not here. "Leggings are great," shared another happy shopper. "They are made with thicker compression type material and do NOT roll."
