Walmart's Labor Day Hours Are Super Convenient This Year
Labor Day is always the first Monday in September, and it's a dedicated tribute that honors every worker who's helped make the country it is today. Since it's a federal holiday that celebrates and appreciates hard work, many stores and businesses across the country are (respectfully) closed. However, if you're looking to shop some good Labor Day deals (or remembered last-minute that you need skewers for your holiday cookout), some stores like Walmart will stay open on Labor Day, September 2.
What are Walmart's Labor Day hours?
Most Walmart locations will run on normal business hours during Labor Day. Hours vary by location, but typically, the superstore will be open from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. If your local store usually operates on a 24-hour schedule, it will continue to be open all day on Labor Day.
Of course, since stores across the country operate differently, it's best to call your local store or check Walmart's website to be extra sure before you head out. Customer service support should also be available during those times, and you can call a representative at the national hotline at (800) 966-6546.
Store departments each have their own separate hours as well, but generally goes as follows:
Pharmacy: Open until 9 p.m.
Photo Center: Open until 10 p.m.
Pickup: Open until 8 p.m.
Vision Center: Open until 8 p.m.
Just an FYI: Walmart is usually open during all holidays except Christmas. It does close early on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.
