Come winter, the opportunity to enjoy a meal accented by a crackling blaze in the background has great appeal. Whether its wood or gas (the latter of which is proving more popular these days), Westchester and Rockland offer a variety of spots for fireside chats, ranging from luxe lounges to historic taverns.
