How to Watch the 2020 Golden Globes—Even Without a TV

New year, new awards season. Everything kicks off with the 77th annual Golden Globes, which will occur this Sunday, January 5th, at 8 p.m. EST / 5 p.m. PST. Dying to know if Marriage Story will sweep the stage? Want to see how many awards The Crown will conquer? Interested in all the red carpet glitz and glamor? Luckily for you, there's a myriad of ways to tune into the coveted awards ceremony, from watching on your TV, smartphone, or laptop. For your viewing pleasure, we listed them below.

On NBC Live or the NBC App

  • NBC Live – Watch the ceremony through NBC Live, which provides livestreamed access to certain TV provider subscribers. Check here to see if your TV provider is covered.

  • NBC App – You can also download the NBC app to watch the ceremony on your mobile device. The app is available through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, XBOX One, Samsung, and Vizio.

Other Livestream Options

Viewers can watch the live broadcast on NBC through the platforms below.

  • Hulu – The Hulu + Live TV plan will allow you to stream the ceremony on your TV, laptop, or phone. It's available online, Apple iOS, Apple TV (4th gen), Android, Chromecast, Echo Show, Fire tablets, Fire TV & Fire Stick, Roku, LG TV and Samsung TV (select models), Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

  • FuboTV – FuboTV offers a free seven-day trial. Afterwards, the service costs $55/month.

  • YouTube TV – Currently, YouTube TV is offering a two-week free trial period. It starts at $50/month after the free trial.

  • Sling TV – For the first month of Sling TV, subscribers pay a price starting at $20 for live channel access.

  • PlayStation Vue – Although Sony Interactive Entertainment is discontinuing the PlayStation Vue service later this month, current subscribers can still tune into the service in order to watch the ceremony.

  • Facebook – The HFPA and Dick Clark Productions will livestream the red carpet pre-show through the social media platform online.
