Just when we thought Sherwin-Williams was all about warm tones-like Cavern Clay-for 2019, the company's HGTV HOME collection named a wonderfully cool shade its Color of the Year: Reflecting Pool SW 6486.
Reflecting Pool is "a color of many personalities," a press release states, adding that the color "speaks to our desire to have a life of balance but with a bit of flair." Ashley Banbury, Senior Color Designer of HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams, also notes that this teal blue is versatile, becoming "soft and calming when mixed with natural hues, but energizing and fun when combined with the vivid and bold shades."
As part of HGTV HOME's Sophisticated Whimsy Color Collection of 2019-one of the year's three designer-inspired trending Color Collection additions-Reflecting Pool aims to inspire openness and positivity.
This color, along with the 23 other colors in the three HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams Color Collections of 2019, will be sold exclusively at Lowe's.
