Watch the 'Westworld' Season 2, Episode 8 Trailer
After a particularly brutal episode of Westworld (R.I.P. Angela and Clementine), viewers were rewarded with some long-awaited answers, but also left with even more questions. The humans of Delos are finally aware that Bernard is a host, while the humans watching at home are finally aware of why he's been acting so damn weird. Instead of being controlled by Wyatt or Dolores or even Teddy like some thought, Ford is in the driver's seat of the host's mind-albeit not completely.
The Westworld writers have been playing with languages a lot this season-episode 3 was titled “Virtù e Fortuna,” episode 5 “Akane no Mai,” and tonight's episode, “Les écorchés”-and next week will be no exception. “Kiksuya” means “remember” in Lakota, a Sioux language spoken by the series' “Ghost Nation” tribe. But-remember what, exactly? Will Bernard finally recall how all those hosts drowned? Or will the episode be more focused on this Ghost Nation flashback? Watch the trailer above.
Westworld screens Sundays at 9 P.M. EST on HBO.
