Watch What Bartenders Say They Hate About Bartenders
A couple weeks ago, we shared a video where bartenders explained their biggest pet peeves with customers. That's fine: Customers know they can be jerks. They're out at a bar getting hammered, partially with the intention of increasing their ability to act like a jerk.
But now the YouTube channel Indulgence has released the above follow up video: "Bartenders Tell Us What They Hate About Other Bartenders." Talk about shots fired.
Beyond stimulating the side of your brain that makes catty shows the like "Real Housewives of Wherever" a success, the video is also interesting because of all the contradictions that bubble up. One bartender will talk about how overly fashion-conscious bartenders are a problem, only for the video to cut to a bartender in a fedora. Someone will complain about mustachioed bartenders, but then of course you know Indulgence had to talk to a bartender with a mustache – that's like 90 percent of male bartenders.
At one point, NYC bartender David Kaplan complains about bartenders who spend more time on camera than they do at their bar, only to be hit with a frightening sense of self-awareness mid-sentence. Ah, the irony.
