Watch a Day in the Life of a Great White Shark with a Wildlife Videographer (Video)

These days, watching shark footage leaves us with mixed emotions.

They're beautiful but scary. They're fascinating but intimidating. They're usually peaceful, but they're still predators.

Sharks, especially great whites, were demonized in pop culture for generations. But now people, even surfers, want to protect them and love to watch them. The latest edit from a Southern California-based nature videographer offers a rare look at a day in the life of a shark.

In the latest video from The Malibu Artist, he spends the day following a great white shark with his drone.

He captioned the video:

"This is a slight change-up. This week, I'm narrating live as I film sharks.

"This is normally how the day goes.

"Hopefully you can get an idea of just how calm, and sometimes boring, sharks can be to observe. Most of the time, this is what sharks are doing. Just chilling."

The premise is simple. He finds a random shark with his drone and spends the day watching it.

It's the great white shark version of reality TV.
