  • In her newest Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper pops a pilar cyst by squeezing it.

  • Dr. Pimple Popper backs up as she squeezes, preparing herself in case it shoots out of her patient's forehead.

  • The doctor calls this extraction a 'hard pop' and compares the cyst to popcorn jelly beans.

If you've had a hard week, how about a hard pop to turn it around? Dr. Pimple Popper has a pilar cyst ready and waiting for you to end on a high note.

Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, aka Dr. Pimple Popper just posted a "hard pop" to her Instagram feed. (She actually polled her Instagram followers, wondering which kind of "pop" they prefer, and "hard pops" were the clear winner, so here we are!)

Dr. Pimple Popper captioned the video: "I heard you Popaholics like a good #hardpop... here ya go! ??????What food does it make you think of??????♀? (I think popcorn jellybeans) #pilarcyst #hardpop #drpimplepopper"

When the video starts, Dr. Pimple Popper is already hard at work squeezing the pilar cyst. "I'm going to push against you okay?" she asks her patient.

"I'm backing up because I've gotten hit before," she says. (Remember when Dr. Pimple Popper had to play catch with a pilar cyst?)

The suspense builds as the doctor continues pressing on the man's forehead around the pilar cyst. All of a sudden, pop, out comes the pilar cyst in one piece. It plays nice and sits right on the top of the man's forehead because it's still anchored below the skin.

"Your daughter would think it was adorable," Dr. Pimple Popper says. "This is her trophy."

That's not all the hard pop brings to mind for the always-clever Dr. Pimple Popper. She asks someone in the room to get some jelly beans. "Maybe some of the popcorn jelly beans," she says. "Look this is your reward." Another onlooker agrees that the pilar cyst looks like jelly beans.

The video captured the real action, but it cuts out before Dr. Pimple Popper has fully extracted the pilar cyst. Still, isn't your week better with a good hard pop?
