You know not to judge a book by its cover. However, did you know you also shouldn't judge a pimple pop by the visible bump? Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, aka Dr. Pimple Popper, gave a firsthand look at one truly spectacular, and surprising, pop. This cyst appears to be an average size, but you shouldn't rely on your first impression. There is so much more lurking underneath.

In her latest Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper is tackling a cyst in a mystery spot on her patient. It's location and size inspired her creative name for the pop. She captioned the video: "Cysts always end up being bigger than they seem! ?? #drpimplepopper".

Now that you have some solid background, you can settle in and watch Dr. Pimple Popper dismantle this cyst one squeeze at a time. The video jumps in with the doctor already set to squeeze. She gets her fingers in position to finesse off-white goo out of the opening.

And boy does it come out … and keeps coming. For at least 30 solid seconds, Dr. Pimple Popper is removing all sorts of juicy mush. There's no signs of the cyst, or the doc, stopping. Then, the video jumps ahead to her cyst sac removal.

Dr. Pimple Popper's fans definitely kept their eyes open for this pop and were rewarded big time. One fan wrote, "Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful." Some Popaholics saw noticed something very unusual inside: "Mmmmm I like my mash potatoes creamy" and "The sac looks like garlic."

A few thoughtful fans were concerned for Dr. Pimple Popper's wellbeing on this cyst. She was squeezing and using some serious muscle for awhile, that cyst kept going and going and going. One commenter shared, "Do your hands get sore during surgery? It looks like a lot of hard work!" It may be hard work for Dr. Pimple Popper, but it's all satisfying for her viewers at home.
