  • In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper pops a steatocystoma festering on a patient’s head.

  • Once cut open and squeezed, the mass spills "steatocystoma juice," according to Dr. Lee.

  • Steatocystomas are small lumps filled with sebum, which is an oily substance that helps lubricate the hair, skin, and nails.

In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper—aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—pops a steatocystoma festering on a patient’s scalp. And this particular cyst is disturbingly juicy.

In the video clip, Dr. Lee makes an incision into the growth to give the contents an avenue of escape. Once the cyst is punctured, Dr. Lee pushes down on the growth, forcing out its liquid contents. And this poor patient’s braids are quickly marred by the flowing fluid.

“It’s steatocystoma juice,” Dr. Lee tells the patient with questionable glee.

Once the mass is drained, Dr. Lee then goes back in to remove the cyst’s sac, which will virtually guarantee the growth is gone for good.

“He is so gonna need a wash day after that,” one fan commented on the clip. Another added, “Well, now those braids gotta come out.”

Steatocystomas are typically small, benign lumps filled with sebum, which is an oily substance that helps lubricate the hair, skin, and nails, according to the National Institute of Health. These growths are genetic and can occur all over the body.

Watch the juice spill in the clip below—and definitely say a prayer for this man's braids:
