  • In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper removes a chunky “blue cheese” cyst from right below a patient’s eyebrow.

  • The cyst was labeled a "blue cheese" cyst by a fan due to the grayish-white appearance of its contents.

  • The growth is likely an epidermoid cyst, which is often filled with an overgrowth of dead skin cells and keratin.

This is some funky 'blue cheese.' In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper — aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD — removes a chunky “blue cheese” cyst from right under a patient’s eyebrow. Though the pop is quick, it will certainly linger in your memory the next time you reach for some stinky cheese.

In the Instagram clip, Dr. Lee makes a small incision below the patient’s eyebrow right in the center of the festering growth. The famed derm then squeezes the cyst with her fingers, releasing chunky grayish-white contents that had one fan making blue cheese comparisons in the comments.

As an extra treat, Dr. Pimple Popper even puts the pop in slow motion at the end of the video for good measure.

"I guess you could say his brows are poppin’,” another fan commented on the video. Ba-Dum-Tss.

The cyst featured in this video is likely an epidermoid cyst, which shockingly don't actually hold blue cheese. This type of growth is often filled with an overgrowth of dead skin cells and keratin, and commonly occurs on the face, neck, and back.
