When the first season of Fleabag premiered back in 2016, it received plenty of positive press. But it was the show's second season, which premiered after a three-year hiatus this past spring, that really kicked the internet's Fleabag appreciation into overdrive. (It helps that the showrunner, Phoebe Waller-Bridge—who also stars as the series's narrator and lead, Fleabag—previously received stateside acclaim for helming Killing Eve's first season.)

Fleabag's sophomore run was nominated for a whopping 11 Emmy Awards, including a nod for overall best comedy series, and dual recognitions for Waller-Bridge in acting and writing categories.
