Based on the top-selling Xbox video game of the same name, the Halo TV series, set in the 26th century, will focus on a looming alien threat to humanity called the Covenant and air exclusively on Paramount Plus. Set in the universe in which the first Halo game was launched in 2001, Paramount Plus notes that “Halo will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure, and a richly imagined vision of the future.” The 10-episode series will star Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 and Jen Taylor as Cortana. They’re joined by Natascha McElhone, Yerin Ha, Charlie Murphy, Shabana Azmi, and Bokeem Woodbine in supporting roles.
