You Can Watch 'Jaws' While Floating In Open Water This Summer
Thrill-seekers, you can officially add "Watch Jaws While Floating In The Water" to your Summer 2019 bucket list. The Volente Beach Resort and Beachside Billy's in Texas are showing the shark flick on the water for the fifth year in a row.
The screenings will begin June 8, 2019, and go through August 17-each Saturday, except for July 6.
It's unclear what tickets will cost this year, but according to the "Jaws on the Water" website, they include access to the Volente Beach attractions, a "shark-ified" inner tube, a fireworks display, and "the thrilling, one-of-a-kind experience of watching cinema's greatest great whites with your feet dangling dangerously and deliciously in the water."
To each their own, but the only place I'll watch Jaws is from land-my couch, specifically. We will update with additional information about tickets as we hear more.

File this under things we would maybe do, but are legitimately terrified to even consider, but it still sounds kinda fun, but equally scary.
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, "Jaws on the Water" has added new dates to their summer viewing schedule. For four more horribly terrifying nights, you can sit in an inner tube, feet dangling in the water, and watch Jaws.
Not only that, but included in your ticket price (for just $55) is a Jaws-themed inner tube (that you can take home), dinner (for an extra $12), and an illustrated Jaws pint glass! Of course, if you're going all out, you might as well sneak in some Jaws-themed treats, like these Twinkie Pops or 'Shark Bait' snack mix. Or go HAM with a round of Jell-o shots. You do you.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the movie starts after sunset (8:45 p.m. or later). So get ready to float at Volente Beach Water Park & Beachside Billy's in Leander, Texas!
