Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum's love story began on the set of Step Up, and thanks to this unearthed audition tape, we can see their love bloom in front of our very eyes. Spoiler alert: It's really adorable.

Jenna shared the recording of of their audition in honor of YouTube Red's spin-off show Step Up: High Water, and let's just say we're grateful that she did. In the video she posted, she intersperses clips of the audition with her own commentary, in which she warns us that, yes, this is slightly embarrassing for her but also pretty wonderful.

"It's very sentimental and amazing for me to watch and I hope you all enjoy it," she says at the end. Oh we definitely did, Jenna.

In the clips she shares, she includes footage of her solo dance routine and her part with Channing. As you might expect, their chemistry is off the charts, and they're even flirting at their audition. No wonder they were cast to play each other's love interests.

At one point, Jenna teases Channing for lying about his dancing abilities. "Oh, stop it right now. You said, 'I don't know how to dance,'" she told him.

Well, thankfully he could and thankfully they both nailed their audition because without Step Up these two may never have been. Watch it all unfold above.
