Watch Katy Perry Sing Along to Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ at the Eras Tour in Sydney
Taylor Swift, Katy Perry
Would you ever have guessed that you'd see Katy Perry singing along to Taylor Swift at one of her concerts? Probably not even in your wildest dreams, right?
Though the two singers have long buried the hatchet of their years-long feud, seeing Perry, 39, jam out to a song that was rumored to be written about her is something many Swifties probably thought they'd never see.
Except that's exactly what happened during Swift's performance of "Bad Blood" last night during the first of four Eras Tour shows in Sydney, as seen in fan-captured footage.

Also in the VIP tent with Perry was artist Rita Ora, and the two appeared excited to be there as they were recorded swapping friendship bracelets with other attendees in a separate video.

Though they're good as gold now, the feud between Swift and Perry started long before they were friends. It first picked up steam in 2014 when Swift released "Bad Blood" and explained that the song was about another woman in the industry, not an ex-boyfriend like some had first thought.
"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," Swift told Rolling Stone at the time. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"
The rumors ramped up again a year later, following comments the now 34-year-old pop star made in an interview with The Telegraph and a passive-aggressive online post made by Perry which seemed to reference a brief feud Swift had with another artist, rapper Nicki Minaj.

Fast forward a few years, and the duo was able to put their beef–and rumored diss tracks–aside in 2019.
“It was really unfortunate,” Perry told Ellen DeGeneres of the “misunderstanding” that caused their rocky relationship. “[B]ut we made amends. And I’m all about redemption and forgiveness and for setting an example for those younger people that it can be cool to ask for forgiveness and confront someone that you may have an issue with or a problem with and talk it out.”
Now, a decade after this all started, they're even supporting each other's careers and their romantic relationships.
