Watch this man turn into a patriotic drag queen —complete with Trump-inspired hair

Tune into Dragged every Thursday, where drag queens Marti Gould Cummings and Jasmine Rice LaBeija help to transform and make over everyday people into their dream versions of drag queens.

It’s time to pledge allegiance to the newest drag queen on the block. On the season finale of “Dragged,” playwright Nic wants to turn into the ultimate paradox — a conservative drag queen. With the help of seasoned drag queens Marti Gould Cummings and Jasmine Rice LaBeija, Nic is ready to get in touch with his feminine and patriotic side.

“He’s tall. He’s beautiful. He’s like a Founding Father but feminine,” Cummings says. “Let’s make him patriotic.”

To begin the drag transformation, Cummings and LaBeija choose a military-like navy jacket, red shirt and a flouncy, white skirt for Nic’s red, white and blue drag look. LaBeija even selects a wig that’s a play on Donald Trump’s infamous hair, so you know this conservative queen is going to shake things up.

When picking out a drag name, Cummings asks Nic to name a playwright he admires for inspiration. Nic mentions Tenneesee Williams as a great American playwright with queer sensibility, who created iconic female characters like Blanche DuBois from “A Streetcar Named Desire” and Amanda Wingfield from “The Glass Manegerie.” Bring those two women together, and you have Nic’s new drag name: Blanche Wingfield.

With his favorite theatre works as inspiration, Nic is ready to reveal his new all-American alter ego. Cue the Americana piccolo music.

“I feel so beautiful right now,” Nic says. “I turned around and looked in the mirror, and I was like, Oh my God, I love the way I look.

The newly-minted Blanche Wingfield says her favorite part of the look is her rainbow-painted face and outrageous Trump-inspired wig. There’s no doubt that this queen is a star — with some added stripes, of course.
