Watch Michael Strahan Get Kicked Out of 'GMA' Kickball Game for Arguing With Umpire
Michael Strahan
Michael Strahan may not be a professional athlete anymore, but his competitive spirit is still alive and well.
The TV personality and former New York Giants defensive end recently looked back at the Good Morning America kickball game, where he had a little bit of an incident with the umpire.
As seen in the lighthearted footage shared to Strahan's Instagram page on Thursday, Oct. 19, the 51-year-old was so invested in the game that he ended up getting himself thrown out after arguing over some calls.
"You know what, you're out," the umpire could be heard saying to him, as Strahan replied yelling, "I'm out! I'm going!"
"Two bad calls in one inning," he said, claiming that his team lost before they even stepped foot on the field.
But the situation appeared to be all in good fun as Strahan had a smile on his face through the entire clip.
"That time I got kicked out of the @goodmorningamerica Kickball game for arguing with the umpire," he recalled in the caption, adding, "LOLOLOL."
He also included the very fitting hashtags, "#OnceACompetitorAlwaysACompetitor" and "#tbt."
The Pyramid host just simply couldn't restrain his competitive nature, even if it was just a friendly kickball match.
Toward the start of the clip, he huddled with his team and made everyone laugh as he instructed, "Let's beat them like they stole from us," before chanting, "1, 2, 3, WIN!"
In other parts of the clip, he could also be seen showing off some dance moves when he was off the field and yelling to the players as he grabbed onto the fence from the dugout.
Perhaps Strahan should stick to football!
