Watch Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Celebrate Their Wedding by Dancing to 'Uptown Funk'
No wedding is complete without an epic reception, even if it's just you and your newly minted spouse jamming out to music all by yourselves. On the heels of her low-key (and extremely intimate) wedding to Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus offered fans a tiny peek inside her post-wedding celebration on social media with a candid video of her and her new husband dancing to close friend Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' upbeat hit "Uptown Funk."
In the 15-second clip, Miley is still dressed in her flowing Vivienne Westwood off-the-shoulder gown, which could mean the video was recorded following the couple's nuptials. Dancing barefoot in front of a Christmas tree, Miley lip-syncs the entire verse while swishing her dress around and flipping her long blonde mane. A head-banging Liam also makes a surprise appearance towards the end of the video and joins his wife's sing-a-long session.
Miley's "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" collaborator Mark Ronson hopped on Instagram on Wednesday to congratulate the singer with an acoustic cover of "Here Comes The Bride."
"special here comes the bride cyrus/hemsworth remix for 2019. congratulations u two xo," he captioned the video. Cyrus and Hemsworth officially tied the knot on December 23 and confirmed their nuptials on social media with a series of black-and-white photos. The couple began dating in 2009 after meeting on the set of The Last Song. In an interview with Howard Stern, when asked whether she considers Liam her boyfriend, Miley said she calls Liam her "survival partner" instead.
"My partner, I call him my survival partner now. He thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that it is," she said. "That is why you pair up with someone, for survival, and he was so incredible. "
